Hospice Center in India UPDATE

This new purchase allows us to provide 2x the services.

We are excited to announce that Global Action Coalition has purchased a Hospice Center outreach van. After opening the Center, we found that some families did not want their loved ones anywhere other than their homes. It was decided that if we had an outreach vehicle, we could send a team to visit patients and provide medical care and painkillers. In some ways, this turned out to be an asset as we have now been able to double the number of people we can help through their transition. The van can also be used for transportation to the Center.

In the photos, you will see the Bishop who had blessed the vehicle. I want to remind everyone that the Center is non-religious, and though it is run by the Catholic Diocese, at no time is there any religious pressure, and our patients are from many religions.

The Center was a collaboration of Hindus, Christians, Jews, and Muslims, and through this beautiful working together, we are able to help those in need.
