A Place to Die with Dignity a Hospice Center in India
Last year one of our Board members traveled to Shivamoggi near Bangalore, India. She went to a hospice center run by Catholic nuns and a priest. It was a run-down building with few beds. The Diocese there is committed to helping the underserved community by having a place to die with dignity.
Global Action with friends from the Indian community of Greenville and our Board Members have committed $25,000 to renovate buildings and have money to support having the right drugs so patients can die pain-free. In India women and the poor do not have a place like this. If you have had family members who have passed away through Hospice you know it is a blessing.
Please help us give that gift to these people who cannot find a peaceful end otherwise.
